La Petunia blanca es una herbácea perenne que presenta una extendida floración desde primavera hasta fines de otoño. Sus abundantes flores blancas y perfumadas permanecen abiertas durante el día y la noche. Prefiere lugares soleados y suelos permeables. Tolera sequía, lluvia y viento. Su belleza se luce en ambientes costeros, maceteros, jardineras, rocallas, pastizales y techos verdes.
Siembra superficial, en sustrato húmedo, con exposición a la luz. Las semillas son muy pequeñas y apenas deben ser cubiertas con arena o sustrato liviano. Riego con lluvia fina.
En condiciones controladas, bajo protección, es posible la siembra durante todo el año.
Época de siembra a suelo directo desde otoño hasta fin de primavera.
Trasplante de plantines con 4 o 5 hojas a su lugar definitivo, dejando 30 cm de distancia entre plantas.
